Facebook trademarks the word “Face”
It is now time to face the fact that Facebook are also about to trademark the first half of the word ‘Facebook’ by claiming exclusive rights over the word “face”, a move which is being perceived as a tad narcissistic, leading to some people labelling the brand ‘Farcebook’. Zuckerberg will face a faceoff with a familiar face, the owner of FaceCash former Harvard classmate and contributor to Facebook Aaron Greenspan who is seeking to lodge an objection to the trademark.
